Course Description

This MA is designed for students interested in studying a general range of issues within the English specialisation. The dissertation stage allows students to focus on a single topic. This programme centres on the core units to build the foundations skills required for textual analysis, cultural study and critical theory a research skills unit that emphasises archival and editorial practice and four units of the student's own choice, one of which may be in a discipline outside English.
