The course aims to meet the needs of practitioners within the creative and cultural industries to enhance vocational, critical and intellectual aspirations and opportunities. Course content will be tailored to suit an individualised route balancing practice, theory and policy, as they relate to the changing nature of Art & Design practice and research. A range of themes and topics will be explored, including: Curatorial Practice Art & Design in the Public Sphere Art & Design for Education Community Development through Art & Design Models of Professional and Business Practice in Art & Design You will be exposed to a range of critical perspectives on contemporary art by way of group discussion, group crits, visiting artists and lecturers.
